Create An Organized Lunch Packing Station

Getting out the door to schoolhouse and work on time is hectic enough, and having to pack lunches for anybody tin can make things more rushed. David and I both started new jobs recently that means we need to pack lunches, so I took a few minutes to set up a lunch packing station to brand things more organized in the mornings.

I thought I'd give you a quick rundown of how I organized our lunch packing stations to give yous some ideas to implement in your ain house. I designated room in our fridge and a closet for lunch packing stations. I organized everything in Dollar Tree plastic baskets and clipped on little chalkboard labels.

Fridge Lunch Packing Station

I added three baskets to a shelf in our refrigerator to create a station for all of our common cold lunch items. Ane of the baskets contains all of our sandwich-making supplies – lunch meat, sliced cheese, and condiments. This handbasket is handy to quickly pull out of the fridge when making sandwiches for our lunches.

The other two baskets agree cold sides like yogurts, fruits, cheese sticks and veggies. I used snack-sized baggies to divide foods into unmarried servings. As nosotros're packing our lunches each morning, nosotros each grab a couple items from these baskets.

Closet Dejeuner Packing Station

I cleared out space in i of our cupboards to make room for 2 baskets of luncheon items. These baskets mostly hold granola confined and Pop-Tarts, forth with single servings of chips and crackers.
